The HSFS Summer Bash took place over this past weekend @ Big Boy Arena with 15 top High School Programs coming together over 31 games and 3 days to crown 2 Champions.  Division 1 had 10 teams and Division 2 had 5 teams and they all played amazing hockey.  The division 2 champions, Big Boy, played Utica Ford in the final and it was a shoot out right from the beginning.  The goals came early and often with the eventual final coming out in Big Boy's favor, 11 to 8.  It was an exciting game and if you like offense, this one was for you.  The Division 1 Championship had to High School powers square off against each other, Gabriel Richard Riverview took on the current Division 3 State Champion Flint Powers Catholic.  This game was completely the opposite of the Division 2 game, with both teams playing extremely close checking and the goalies putting on a show.  The game was 0 to 0 at the end of the first, 1 to 0 at the end of the 2nd and finished 2 to 0 for the first ever back to back HSFS Summer Bash Champions, Flint Powers Catholic.  Both Championship games were amazing and exciting and we are already looking forward  to next year's Summer Bash!!

Thank you to all the teams that participated, it was an outstanding weekend!!
