4 on 4 "ROI" Rules (1 Day Event)

Games will be 1-22-minute running time period (Last minute of a game will be stop time if there is a 1-goal differential)

* 4 on 4

*No Checking

*No Offsides

*No Icing

*Face off after every whistle just like regular hockey

* Slap shots – If you can let it rip, LET IT RIP!!!! 

*Coincidental Penalties go down to 3 on 3 or 2 on 2 (more ice to skate)

*Penalties will be 1:00 (Running Time)

*Roster size (Minimum) 6 skaters + 1 Goalie / (Maximum) 8 skaters + 2 Goalies (ROSTERS MUST BE TURNED IN BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT.  IF A PLAYER DOES NOT PLAY A GAME IN  ROUND ROBIN PLAY, THEY CANNOT PLAY IN THE PLAYOFFS, REGARDLESS IF THEY WERE ON THE ROSTER)

*Every team MUST have matching jerseys!!!!!

*Ice will be resurfaced after every 3 games

*All teams must have an ADULT coach on the bench (NO MORE THAN TWO ADULT COACHES ON THE BENCH)

*If game is tied at the end of regulation there will be a 2-man shootout.  If the game is tied after the 2nd round, the shootout will continue until there is a winner.

*In the shootout a team can choose to use the same player every time or change players every shot, it is their choice.

*2 Minute warm-up

*Absolutely no Fighting!  Any fights, the player is suspended for the remainder of the tournament.

*In Quarterfinals, Semi-Finals or Finals if the game is tied at the end of Regulation there will be a 3-minute running time 3 on 3.  If the game is still tied at the end of the overtime, then the teams will proceed immediately to the 2-man shootout.

*Over and back!  On a delayed penalty, once the puck passes the red line it cannot go back over the red line.  If it does, it is an automatic whistle.

MERCY RULE:  During Round Robin games there will be no mercies.  During Playoff games there will be an 8 Goal Mercy Rule.  If at any point during the game there is an 8 goal differential, the game is immediately over.
