What a great weekend of High School Hockey!  10 top High School programs came to Big Boy Arena this past weekend to play in the 2024 HSFS Summer Meltdown and 3 teams left Champions.  The Tier 3 Championship saw the Romeo Bulldogs take on the SFT Stallions.  Both teams played a great game but the Bulldogs seemed to have a little more bite and came out with a 6 to 1 win over the Stallions.  In the Tier 2 Championship, there was a battle of 2 regular season rivals, Chippewa Valley Unified and the Anchor Bay Tars.  This was a great game all the way to the end with Anchor Bay scoring a goal with less than 3 minutes to go in the third period to claim a 3 to 2 win and the Tier 2 Championship.  The Tier 1 Championship turned out to be another nail bitter and a one goal game.  The De La Salle Pilots took on SCS United and this would be the second time these 2 powerhouses meet over the weekend.  In round robin play SCS would claim a 3 to 2 victory over De La Salle in an extremely hard fought game.  The Tier 1 Finals would be no different, the game was hard fought, physical but clean and a great game to watch but this time De La Salle got their revenge and came out with a 3 to 2 win.  It was a great weekend of hockey and now it's time for all the hockey players to hit the pool and get some much needed time off.

Thank you to all the teams players, parents and staffs that came out over this weekend.  We look forward to seeing everyone for the 6th Year of the HSFS Fall league.  This is going to be the biggest and best season yet!!
