Round Robin & Playoff Structure | 4-Game Guarantee

4-Team Division

4-Game Guarantee

Round Robin: Each team will play the other three teams in its division once, for a total of three round-robin games per team.

Playoffs: Following round-robin play, all four teams advance to the semifinals.

• Semifinal #1: 1st Place vs. 4th Place

• Semifinal #2: 2nd Place vs. 3rd Place

• Championship: Winners of Semifinals #1 and #2

5-Team Division

4-Game Guarantee

Round Robin: Each team will play the other four teams in its division once, for a total of four round-robin games per team.

Playoffs – 12U, 14U & 16U:

• Gold Championship: 1st Place vs. 2nd Place

• Silver Championship: 3rd Place vs. 4th Place

Playoffs – 19U:

• Championship: 1st Place vs. 2nd Place

• No Silver Championship will be played.

6-Team Division

4-Game Guarantee

Round Robin: The six teams will be divided into two groups of three teams (Group A and Group B). Each team will play the other two teams within its group, plus one crossover game against a team from the opposite group, for a total of three round-robin games.

Playoffs: Following round-robin play, the first-place team from each group receives an automatic bye into the semifinals.

Quarterfinals:

• Quarterfinal #1: 2nd Place Group A vs. 3rd Place Group B

• Quarterfinal #2: 2nd Place Group B vs. 3rd Place Group A

Semifinals:

• Semifinal #1: 1st Place Group A vs. Winner of Quarterfinal #2

• Semifinal #2: 1st Place Group B vs. Winner of Quarterfinal #1

Championship: Winners of Semifinals #1 and #2 compete for the Division Championship.

8-Team Division

4-Game Guarantee

Round Robin: The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four teams (Group A and Group B). Each team will play the other three teams within its group once, for a total of three round-robin games.

Playoffs: Following round-robin play, all eight teams advance to either the Gold or Silver Playoffs based on their group standings.

Gold Playoffs – 1st & 2nd Place Teams

• Gold Semifinal #1: 1st Place Group A vs. 2nd Place Group B

• Gold Semifinal #2: 1st Place Group B vs. 2nd Place Group A

• Gold Championship: Winners of both Gold Semifinals

Silver Playoffs – 3rd & 4th Place Teams

• Silver Semifinal #1: 3rd Place Group A vs. 4th Place Group B

• Silver Semifinal #2: 3rd Place Group B vs. 4th Place Group A

• Silver Championship: Winners of both Silver Semifinals

Tournament Format Summary

*19U has only one Championship game between the top two teams.

Important scheduling note: The six-team format guarantees four games, but teams advancing through the quarterfinals may play as many as six games. The four-team and eight-team formats may produce five games for championship finalists.
