2022 Summer Meltdown a Huge Success!

This past weekend Goya Sports Marketing was humbled to put on the 2022 4 on 4 Summer Meltdown @ Big Boy Arena.  The games were fast paced, exciting, the goals were plentiful and the saves were unbelievable.  At the end of the weekend there were 3 Champions Crowned.  In the 2012-2013 Division the Average Joel's went undefeated, but were tested strongly in the finals vs. Team Monster, to claim the Championship.  In the 2011-2010 Division NXTL Stars took the crown, but had to play arguably the best and most exciting game of the weekend vs. the Average Joel's.  The Average Joel's were able to tie this exciting game at 4 with just over a minute to go in the 2nd half.  Everyone in attendance thought this game was going to overtime, but with 40 seconds to go NXTL Stars got a breakaway and was able to score on a great move to take a 5 to 4 lead and eventually the Championship.  In our oldest Division - High School, the Shake Dogs were able to run the table, although playing some extremely tough and tight games, and claim our High School Championship.  

It was an extremely exciting weekend!  The rink was cold, the ice was good and the weather outside was beautiful.  All you had to do was look outside and see all the kids airing out their gear, running around and playing football and tag and just having a great time in between their games.  Goya Marketing would like to thank everyone that participated this weekend from the parents, coaches and the players.  We can't wait until the next 4 on 4, we hope you will be there.
